Car Glass Maintenance for Clear Vision and Safety

The clarity of car glass directly affects driving vision, so daily maintenance needs to do these points well. First of all, clean the glass regularly. Both the front windshield and the car windows should be kept clean to avoid dust and oil affecting the vision. Special glass water can be used for cleaning. Do not use tap water or soapy water to avoid residual water stains.
Secondly, check the glass seal strip. If the seal strip is aging and cracked, it will cause rainwater leakage and increase wind noise, which needs to be replaced in time. If there is a small crack on the front windshield with a diameter not exceeding 1 centimeter, it can be repaired to avoid the crack expanding and affecting the glass strength; if the crack is large, the glass must be replaced immediately to prevent the glass from breaking while driving.
In addition, when the glass freezes in winter, do not rinse it directly with hot water. Hot water will cause the glass to expand and contract due to temperature changes, leading to breakage. Warm water or glass deicer can be used to melt the ice layer slowly. The wiper blades should be replaced regularly, it is recommended to replace them every 6-12 months. Aging wiper blades will not wipe the glass clean, affecting vision in rainy days, and may also scratch the glass.
